These days, you hear the word buffet and you envision 250-odd Asian dishes that somehow all taste the same: stale. Not here, where the sushi buffet is under strict quality control and continuously replenished. The hibachi steak, chicken, and shrimp are cooked to order and brought to your table. The salad bar features seaweed, the soup-of-the-day is soba noodle with shrimp tempura, and the dessert bar highlights green tea ice cream. It's a bit pricier than other buffets, but given the assurances of fresh fish and expertly prepared stir-fry, it's definitely worth it.
A buffet by any other name usually smells the same. Not so at Kyojin, where the sushi buffet offers some of the freshest fish around. The only odors you'll get from this 50-item assortment are of seaweed and wasabi.
