This simple, clean and surprisingly well appointed bakery chain is a welcome sight compared to most fast-food outlets. The reason folks throng here, however, has nothing to do with aesthetics. They come for the authentic Czech pastry, thick and doughy, with just a hint of sweetness. You can get the traditional fruit-topped versions, as well as the best sausage and ham versions in town. But for something a little different, try the ranchero, Philly cheese steak or spicy Polish sausage.
