Whether you’re dying to know how the next season of Downton Abbey turns out, buying the newest Apple gadget, or trying to cast a ballot in Miami-Dade County, waiting is a fact of life. But some things are more rewarding to wait for than others. Take for instance the cinnamon rolls at Knaus Berry Farm (15980 SW 248th St., Homestead). When Knaus reopened this past October 30, hundreds of locals turned out for the season’s first taste of the sweet treats. Jamie Stagg and Nick Tavaglione were there and waited about an hour to get their hands on those buns. Was it really worth it? “Have you tasted these cinnamon rolls?” Tavaglione said, laughing. “They’re the best.” Now that the opening rush has died down, you can snag your own taste of sticky goodness without spending a lengthy stretch in a queue.
