Operating from a loading dock in Dogpatch, Kitchenette is a modern take on street food. Started by a collective of chefs including Douglas Monsalud and Brian Leitner (whose collective résumés boast stints at Chez Panisse and Fog City Diner), the popular lunch counter serves up artisanal cuisine to go. The menu changes daily and is updated on Kitchenette's Twitter feed, but always includes sandwiches, salads, something sweet, and something to quench your thirst.
