For all you misfits, '50s romantics, or if you look like you've just been baptized in the swamp, Fort Lauderdale's rockabilly hangout Monterey Club throws a party for you every Wednesday. Kill the Cooler helps you skip hearing Top 40 hits in the club land that is Himmarshee, and instead features DJ Dez spinning Ska, Swing, Rock, and Dance. The drink special is, what else, $2 Pabsts until 2 a.m., but for those who don't have a palete for all things hipster, Monterey also has a wide selection of great beers, ales, wine, and liquor
