An unpretentious sports bar in a predominately gay neighborhood, Kettle of Fish reaches out to understated people of all walks of life. Its subground entrance can be difficult to find, but worth it: the bar's patrons are so close-knit, they organize seasonal events such as pumpkin carving contests and baseball game field trips. This is a fun crowd to fall into, and the drinks are straightforward and inexpensive, to boot.
