Festive Kay 'n Dave's makes its corn tortillas and banana leaf wrapped tamales in-house. Many of the menu items, such as the lamb birria and chicken suisa enchiladas, stem from the head chef's Oaxacan family recipes. With additional locations in Culver City and Pacific Palisades, the restaurant is authentic and on the healthier side.
Not too fancy, not too dive. All sauces are vegetarian and no trans fats. Order from the a la carte menu for the most bang ~ I like the black bean tacos and veggiladas. And the guac of course!!
