One of our favorite things to do on a dreary weekday evening is head over to a local bar for karaoke night. There are two kinds of karaoke singers: the people that go solely for fun, just to make a light-hearted fool of themselves, sometimes dragging a friend up along with them; and then there are the karaoke soldiers. You know these people when you hear them. They're serious about karaoke. They practice at home in front of the bathroom mirror. They incorporate perfectly-timed movements to that stirring rendition of "Sweet Carolyn." And to watch this glorious spectacle with a cold beer in your hand? It's one of life's many pleasures.
