Trying to understand the various terms and conditions of the lunch and dinner all-you-can-eats can give you a preprandial headache – still, parsed out a piece at a time till you bust, the tandoori drumsticks are a dye-free wonder of smoky flavor, while the chicken tiki masala, which arrives bathed in yogurt and slightly charred, is equally estimable. Order á la carte to get the fenugreek potatoes tinged with red oil, or the lamb curry, good in every way except it needs some salt. Eating at Kabab Factory is like eating in a submarine, and what’s with the name, when things are turned out so slowly and with such deliberation?
