This theme park of a French brasserie offers several appealing locales for dining and drinking: a barroom, a back room, a solarium, even a rooftop bar that catches breezes off the East River late into the warm summer evenings. The menu, too, offers something for everyone, including saucisson lyonnaise slicked with mustard vinaigrette mounted on boiled potatoes, cod brandade furnished with toasts, braised lamb shank with veggies, and a hamburger that may arrive done or overdone, depending on the mood of the cook.
