This theme park of a French brasserie offers several appealing locales for dining and drinking: a barroom, a back room, a solarium, even a rooftop bar that catches breezes off the East River late into the warm summer evenings. The menu, too, offers something for everyone, including saucisson lyonnaise slicked with mustard vinaigrette mounted on boiled potatoes, cod brandade furnished with toasts, braised lamb shank with veggies, and a hamburger that may arrive done or overdone, depending on the mood of the cook. Some evenings Juliette is packed with pretty cocktail-swilling ingenues.
It's all about the rooftop on a spring day. Good for light dishes and happy hour. Great spot to just hang and watch the sunset in good company.

The sprawling French brasserie offers a splendid roof garden, where the lovelorn stud can drink a bargain bottle of French wine (many in the $20 to $30 range) and use it to wash down any number of diverting snacks, such as toasts smeared with salt cod brandade or--to keep his youthful figure--meal-size salads.
