Walk into this tiny Lower East Side storefront and you're instantly hit with a wave of citrusy smells. Fresh fruit rests in baskets hanging over the bustling team of employees who are busy juicing and blending, making all kinds of organic juices and smoothies. There are juice cleanses, made with cold-pressed juices and meant to help your digestive system. Do they work? It seems to for the svelte, stylish 20-somethings who often sit outside on the benches with their dogs. A few of the many ingredients you might drink down in your juice: cucumber, ripe tomato, sweet potato, watermelon, sea salt, ginger and much, much more. The smoothies are all vegan and made without refined sugar; fruits like ripe banana and organic berries are mixed with raw nut milks and boosters such as rice protein powder and maca powder. A fridge full of bottled juices provides drinks for those on the go, with free delivery available as well.—Keith Wagstaff
