This home-grown burger mini-chain seeks to outflank places like Five Guys by offering similar prices, but also an expanded menu that includes wraps, salads, and lots of fried sides (including such far-flung items as the Caribbean batata tuber). But that's not the end of the gimmicks. There are three sizes of ground-beef burgers (3-ounce, 5-ounce, and 8-ounce), in addition to patties made from turkey and vegetable matter. The slogan of the place is "The sauces make the difference," and they do, as long as you select the right one. Besides the obvious, choices run to chimichurri, pesto, mango chutney, etc. Somehow, though the flavor of the meat sometimes gets lost, the burgers are delicious. Beer and wine license pending.
