The neon sign in front of Jordinelli's evokes an era of classic dives from the '30s and '40s, which isn’t surprising since the spot was established in 1934. But inside, this Brighton bar is something of an updated take on the classic dive. Since there are morning and evening happy hours (9 to 11 a.m. and 4 to 7 p.m.) Monday through Friday, it's one of the more popular bars in Brighton, especially on the weekends, when there are either DJs or live bands. While a lot of regulars come here for a decent selection of pizzas, Jordinelli's also serves burgers and an assortment of appetizers including wings, poppers and Rocky Mountain oysters.
