Description

This used to be called Joni's Capitol Café, and when we heard Joni was leaving, we feared we'd lose our favorite downtown quickie eating spot. We didn't, and fortunately, the menu hasn't changed all that much, or we'd have to have tried to find a breakfast burrito that's perfectly made to order, which is one of Mike's specialties. Also good: The Denver omelet, a fluffy pillow full of cheesy goodness, and the help-yourself salad bar. Located in the basement of the Executive Tower, Mike's offers not only nice, fast food, but a room full of local political celebs to ogle while you eat. Sweet!
