Joey B's on the Hill might be more sedate than the original Joey B's on the Landing, but its neighborhood bar-and-grill ambiance is winning. The lengthy menu features standard bar-food fare like wings, T-ravs and potato skins, as well as pasta, burgers and sandwiches. The St. Louis-style pizza is popular, and those seeking a more substantial meal will find steak on the menu. The bite-size soft pretzels are fantastic: buttery sweet and served with a spicy jalapeño-cheese sauce for dipping. The dining rooms offer numerous flat-screen TVs to keep tabs on all the games.

Cheap, convenient bar food.
Awesome happy hour and even better food prices!

Portions are enormous, I usually end up taking half my entre`e home and it is just as good the next day :-) The seating is comfortable and they have a nice patio. Easy to get to. Just a couple of blocks south of I-44 on Hampton.
Few marriages work as well as a soft pretzel and melted cheese. Joey B's on the Hill takes the next step, though -- or, rather, the next two steps. First, it gives the cheese a jalapeño kick. Second, it serves the piping-hot pretzels coated in melted butter. The result is absolutely indulgent: salty, sweet, spicy. You could easily polish off two orders of these while watching the game at the busy restaurant's bar, and should you visit Joey B's for lunch or dinner, the temptation... More »
