It's quite a hike to this retro-futuristic burger stand in east Gilbert, but there's nothing like it in the Valley. The building is a converted farm home, where owner Joe Johnston grew up, and it's situated in a new master-planned community called Agritopia, where a 12-acre urban farm provides the restaurant with fresh produce. Johnston also owns the popular Joe's Real BBQ in downtown Gilbert, so smoky ribs and pulled pork are a given here. Other crowd-pleasing options include burgers and fries, sandwiches, salads, and pizza, all made with topnotch local ingredients. Burger connoisseurs will go crazy for the juicy fontina burger.
