Description

CLOSED DiMaggio's is what you might call a classy joint. Burnished mahogany, thick drapes, and sumptuous booths and banquettes are bathed in amber light. Dino and the Chairman give the sound design that Rat Pack-y atmo, and an impressive array of Joltin' Joe imagery and memorabilia is displayed in every nook and cranny (hello, Marilyn!). The cuisine is classic Italian-American - minestrone, scampi, cioppino, spaghetti and meatballs, pizzas from the wood-burning oven - plus tender, buttery aged-Angus chops, filets, and ribeyes. Swanky bar; good Italian wine list; live jazz on occasion.
