Description

If you're looking for a place to hang out and get your creative juices flowing then this Downtown Phoenix coffeehouse might be just the place you need. Located in the heart of the Roosevelt Row arts district, Jobot Coffee Shop is a favorite gathering place for locals, artists and college students all of whom you'll typically find lounging around the outdoor patio or inside working on the vintage wooden tables. When it comes to food the cozy coffeehouse offers an eclectic menu starring a selection of sweet and savory crepes as well as sandwiches, salads and wraps but they're best known for their hot and cold coffee drinks and teas including their iced toddy and dirty chai. A 1930s bungalow turned local hangout, Jobot may be a little rough around the edges but it's just the right vibe for the burgeoning arts community it serves.

Iced americano was quick, delicious, and didn't water down, and I was pleased to be greeted at the door by a fluffy friend - someone's dog. Both made me decide that next time I work from home, I'm actually going to work from Jobots with my puppy in tow.

Great coffee, fantastic (and sometimes exotic) crepes, and open 24 hours on the weekend... What could be better?!

  • 2011 | Best Coffee House, Downtown Phoenix

On average, we fill a minimum of three punch cards a month at this Fifth Street coffee house. Some might say we have a problem -- and they might be right. But that's not going to stop us. Just over a year old, JoBot brews its own special blend of locally famed Cartel coffee and serves to-die-for homemade scones -- and crêpes. Not just any crêpes; these are some of the best in town. Sweet or savory, we love them all. Hang out inside at the bar and chat with the locals,... More »

  • 2011 | Best Place to Take a Scenester

John Sagasta gave new meaning to the term "kick it up a notch" when he ditched Conspire (the anarchist, vegan doughnut-shilling commune) down the street to open his own joint, Jobot. Jobot's nothing fancy, just a narrow coffee bar with a shaded, misted patio. But with peeling paint, concert fliers, a chalkboard menu, and the best crêpes and coffee in town, it's got all the elements necessary to satisfy even your friends who've upped and moved to Portland (but who somehow show up back...
