Owner Jimmy Mills says he envisioned his modest, off-the-strip bistro in Delray Beach as a "gluttonous feast every night with no rules and people spilling wine all over the place." While the cozy boîte is hardly the restaurant equivalent of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, it does demand you eat more than fill, if only because the food Mills crafts is so good. Pasta is made in-house and retains its toothy bite when paired with lobster and cream or rustic tomato sauce. The mozzarella is homemade too, finding its way into caprese salads and a savory fondue. Jimmy's also sports local seafood, updated classics such as paella and shrimp étouffée and a drink menu full of boutique, small-batch wines.
