Owner and chef Jay Solomon teaches cooking classes, writes cookbooks, and owns and operates two Jay's Patio Cafe locations ― one in Highland and one in the Denver Tech Center. Both restaurants have upscale American bistro atmospheres and menus featuring freshly prepared breakfast items, soups, salads and sandwiches. Early-bird customers can break their fasts with a capicola, egg and Swiss breakfast panino or a traditional Colorado breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon, cheese and green chiles. Later, lunch-goers can enjoy a bowl of their house sherry-mushroom soup and a lemony tuna Niçoise salad or a wasabi beef sandwich. Full espresso bars provide lattes and mochas to fuel the rest of the work day, and Jay’s offers gourmet box lunches as well, in case you want to treat the entire office.
