Description

Located directly across from the ocean, Javier's newest location is more opulent than ever. Walking into Javier's Cantina-through palm trees and fire-is like walking into another land. The dimly lit bar has a club vibe; the metal tree sculpture holding various tequilas over the bar is worth the trip in just to ogle. Of course, dining at a place like this can be pricey, but if you get to Javier's early, you can snag a seat on the patio and indulge in its happy hour.

It's the nicest Mexican restaurant I�ve ever been to hands down. The shrimp cerviche is so good � everything I�ve had here is great. I've had enchiladas and sat out on the patio with a great view of the Pacific Coast Highway and Pacific Ocean across the PCH. The prices aren�t too bad for what you get � great food and big portions. It gets packed here.

Great Mexican food and great drinks -- I love the margaritas. Really nice view with the Pacific across the street and great people watching. They do a really good job with their seafood enchiladas. That�s what I usually order.
