Description

Some locals cite the bars on the windows and the chipped-paint exterior of Jalisco as reasons they put off stopping in, but once they walk inside, everything changes. The warm yellow of the walls makes a comfy setting. Regulars slide into well-worn booths while loners take their seats at the bar. Mexican soft drinks and desserts are displayed in a colorful and enticing lineup near the door, and the waitstaff greets you with house chicken and rice soup and warm chips and salsa before you even sit down.
