Jake�??s has welcomed all comers since 1985 -- from frat boys and the ladies who love them to cornflower blue button-down desk jockeys. The cheap-ass happy hour deals have a lot to do with it. These include three-dollar apps and two-dollar domestic bottles and cosmos enjoyable on the Christmas-light decorated patio with live music. Jake�??s like to shake it up in the kitchen as well, creating a burger of the month. The Philly burger (two patties, provolone, sautéed green bell peppers, onions and mushrooms) was a past creation. Cheap cheap happy hour. Love the burgers, grilled cheese, and fried pickles for hangover food. The patio is nice on a sunny afternoon.

A far cry from the one in Lake Highlands, but the same quality of food is here. Try the double cheeseburger with a side of sweet potato fries and you'll be in heaven.
