Description

Pleasantly anachronous, this jazz joint seems almost out of place in the loud, smoky, midriff-bearing scene that is Miami's trademark. Heavy drapes, dim lights, and cozy booths make for a perfect date destination. Live jazz bands perform most nights, setting the mood without making it impossible to hear the person next to you.

Local restaurateur Patrick Gleber -- he also owns Tobacco Road and Fishbone Grille -- says he has tried to create a place where you might stop in for a drink and stay for dinner. The menu offers reasonably priced comfort food -- meat loaf, for... More »
