Walking into J.R. Bentley's, patrons will notice wooden walls lined with vintage Guinness signs, stained-glass windows with boat motifs and a menu full of imported beers -- all the trappings of a faux-English pub. But there's also a creak in the floor, which speaks volumes about the bar's history. Bentley's has been a popular hangout for Arlington residents and nearby University of Texas at Arlington students for more than 30 years.
