    At age 64 we two babyboomers having been married 45 years make eating out our hobby and a passion since we were both raised here native Houstonians - we loved great food - and really "good" restaurant dining. Italiano's is a place that we rate in our own words as a real "find" the kind of place that you will go back to over & over again through the years. Superb food at prices that are quite low - a tough combination for sure. We've eaten the best pizza in New York and Chicago - ITALIANO'S is better ! The greek salad is fantastic as are the home baked rolls and specialty dishes! Honestly, if you lived accross town you would still want to travel to dine here. Great service, the owners are always there and really care - it is a wondeful atmosphere cozy & comfortable - you can almost forget what city that you are in as you sit back and dine while listening to Sinatra! None better in the way of Italian food in the city of Houston. I frequented Tony's back in the 1960's - this place is better!

    This place just won Best Resturant at Houston Press Menu of Menus Extravaganza in April 2010 -- They have a great alfredo sauce!
