This sleek and sexy West Hollywood party palace - once called Area, and before that, Prey - has seen many transformations, but its current guise provides a modern yet stylish backdrop for the celebrity crowd that frequents it. Part of the SBE nightlife stable that includes the restaurants Katsuya and XIV and clubs the Abbey and Colony, Industry has the Hollywood SBExcess you'd expect with a Miami-style twist: lots of white paint, bottle-service tables surrounding the dance floor and, of course, gorgeous, spray-tanned waitresses. DJs spin upbeat hip-hop and house melds, and promoters include well-connected kids seen on The Hills. There's a burger-bar setup near the VIP room, but few of the modelesque regulars take advantage.

Even though it's been open for a while, I have grown up in nightclubs in Hollywood with the people who run this place, so it's always had a good "home" feel to me. It's like coming home in LA. That whole SBE group are my brothers and sisters. It's the trendier, MTV-ish, "Hills" Hollywood crowd. It's the place if you want to see someone from the celeb mags.
It's got a really, really great ambience and really fun people. For me, at the parties I've been to in LA, it's been more about chilling, not really getting down and partying - but Area is one club where people really come to party.
You wont be disappointed, very cool place.
