Description
The 2100 block of Larimer Street has become one of the hottest restaurant areas in town. Ignite!, a concept from Concept Restaurants (Rock Bottom founder Frank Day is one of the owners), joined the lineup in late 2011. The place bills itself as an "urban gastropub" with "fire-crafted food" and serves a variety of burgers and pizzas, as well as pot pie made in a cast-iron pan and a sweet-and-spicy bacon jerky called "man candy." But the food isn’t the real draw at Ignite!: The hot ticket here is the year-round rooftop patio, just the place to enjoy a draft beer (free with entree on Friday) while surveying the ever-changing skyline of downtown.
