There was a lot of buzz about this slick place on the western edge of Woodside, which cultivates the look of a franchise fast-food restaurant, with colorful wall treatments and curvy Formica booths. The food is a grab-bag of Bangkok-style Thai, with some Chinese thrown in for good measure. The red duck curry proved excellent, swimming in coconut milk, with a few chunks of pineapple that we didn't mind. Chicken-stuffed curry puffs were also excellent, though the dish called crispy chicken was something of a sticky disaster. We quickly realized that the utility of this place lies in its willingness to make the food just as hot as you want it, and a chicken larb salad left us pleasantly bathed in sweat.
