After a fourteen-year run, SingSing -- which was downtown Denver’s only dueling-piano bar for most of those years -- closed at the end of 2011. A few months later, Howl at the Moon, a national dueling-piano chain that started in 1990 and has more than a dozen locations across the country, opened in the space. Performers play everything from Billy Joel to KISS to LMFAO, but they also take requests. And while the entertainment is clearly the focus, Howl at the Moon also serves a decent selection of classic drinks with a twist, like the Twisted Shirley or Strong Island Iced Tea.
