Houston Press' Description

Known for its excellent service and elegant surroundings, Thai Bistro is a popular choice for those in search of upscale Thai. Though many of the names have been Westernized, you can still expect to find your classic Thai Favorites, like Panang curry and papaya salad, on the menu. Ingredients are fresh and authentic, everything is prepared from scratch and service is of the fine-dining variety. Dishes can be a little on the mild side, so be sure to ask for extra heat if you're in the mood for something truly spicy.

Tips from foursquare

I disliked Thai food until I ate here. The curries are all delicious.

  • Akshatha C. on 11/23/13

Nice and cozy place to have a good Thai meal! Ambiance mainly created by the candles at every table!

  • DJ TEXAS O. on 04/11/13

Clean, quiet and the food is genuinely delicious. All food dishes are made fresh at order. Dine in or lounge on the open air patio. Recommended

  • Courtney F. on 10/16/12

Order the Chicken Basil Inferno at "hot" but not "Thai hot" if you like to eat spicy food! Thai hot is extremely hot.

  • Lola L. on 11/12/12

The curries taste good but they put old bean sprouts on my plate. I won't come back.
