Description

Houston Press' Description

Once a more typical building on the Washington Corridor, Taqueria La Flor looks strangely out of place after the area's revitalization with its bright orange and red exterior. Inside, La Flor serves some authentic food. Notable salsas, friendly service and fresh taco shells set this eatery apart from the others up and down Washington. Chorizo and egg breakfast tacos are popular, and traditional agua frescas are available.

Don't let the long line intimidate you, it goes pretty fast. Makes sure you are ready to order once you're at the counter.

  • Ramón A. on 04/04/11

$2/taco. Great for the quick cheap eat.

  • Jibril A. on 02/04/11

    Barbacoa Tacos ftw!

  • Whitney W. on 12/08/11

Excellent food! Rude service. Real life taco nazi!

  • Jesse P. on 09/29/10

Get the spicy sausage or nopales tacos! They are delicioso! Oh, quesadillas too!
