Tan Tan Restaurant
Houston, TX 77063
Houston Press' Description
This second location of longtime Bellaire favorite Tan Tan doesn't hold nearly as much charm as the original, even if it's serving all the same food from the notoriously long (25 pages long) menu. Best bets are helpfully listed on the very first page of the menu, such as fried rice and stir-fried flat rice noodles with beef and broccoli. There's a wine list, but you're better off sticking with beer or Vietnamese lemonade. In the winter, it's a useful spot for hot pot without having to drive all the way over to Chinatown proper.
Tips from foursquare
clean and had really good service! they were very attentive...kinda different for an asian spot!
Can't go wrong with wonton noodle soup (egg or rice noodles). - very filling and good hangover food!!
Get the Vietnamese salad they give you a huge portion !
Umm why is this categorized as a Tanning salon? LOL
Just as good as the Bellaire Blvd location but cleaner, more spacious, and more gringos.
