Houston Press' Description

Claire Smith's flagship Heights restaurant keeps it light and casual, but its occasionally Asian-inflected dishes don't skimp on flavor, like grilled quail stuffed with venison sausage and cabbage or a sautéed red snapper with Napa slaw and a red curry-coconut broth. With the social set flocking to new bars and clubs on Washington, Shade is a great place to kick-off an evening of sampling some of the city’s hottest nightspots.

Try the Cornmeal Crusted Oyster Caesar Salad with chopped romaine, Parmesan-Reggiano, red grape tomatoes, hearts of palm, garlic croutons & fried capers. Wonderful Brunch!
