Houston Press' Description

This Mexican-Jewish bakery and cafe is famous for Latin-American
pastries like the dulce de leche-filled alfajores.
There is also a full menu of oversized sandwiches and Mexican
breakfast dishes along with an unlikely lineup of empanadas, crepes,
blintzes, matzoh ball soup and the hottest jalapeƱo gefilte fish
you've ever tasted.
