Description

Houston Press' Description

Chef Bryan Caswell is reeling them in with his imaginative new take on Gulf seafood. Reef's interior is cool but not lavish, the waitstaff wears blue jeans, and the bar menu includes the trendy little hamburgers called sliders; all of which gives this Midtown fine dining establishment a relaxed vibe. And while it's not cheap, it's a better deal than most.

The Happy Hour Beef and Pork Sliders are delicious!

We know you're here for fish, but the mac 'n cheese comes in a perfectly geometric panko cube! That said, the mussels swim in a broth chock-full of Texas-born Shiner Bock and are a must-try.

    Try the mac and cheese!
