Description

Houston Press' Description

The only restaurant in Houston to truly master the Napoletano-style pizza, Pizaro's is all the more wonderful for its unassuming location in a 1960s-era strip mall in suburban Memorial. There's nothing fancy about the bare-bones dining room save the enormous, glowing pizza oven that takes up nearly one whole wall. The pizzas here are cooked at 900 degrees in 90 seconds, using house-made mozzarella and imported San Marzano tomatoes, resulting in a pizza nearly as good as you'd get in Naples itself.

Authentic Neapolitan style pizza made in an imported oven. No atmosphere to speak of, but they make the mozzerella fresh every single day, and it's BYOB! [Eater 38 Member]

Good is great! Prices are high!

If you're a Caprese fan, their version is spot-on. We suggest ordering the Bufula mozzarella version. The cheese is soft, the tomato slices thick, the basil bright & divine with the balsamic reduction

Definitely get goat cheese on your pizza.
