Description

Houston Press' Description

As part of the ubiquitous Pappas chain, Pappas Burger puts the focus squarely on malt-shop style selections such as burgers, fries and milkshakes. The interior is retro-themed with black and white tile, bright vinyl chairs, and squishy red booths. A large number of televisions allow guests to watch sports games or news programs while munching on their enormous platters of food. Burger toppings range from simple cheese and vegetables to less typical offerings like guacamole and peppercorn ranch. There are also a number of other sandwich options, such as grilled Portobello or catfish. Or try some Buffalo wings, salads, or even ribs, if you're not in a bread and meat kind of mood.
