Description

Houston Press' Description

As close to the City of Brotherly Love as you're going to get in the Bayou City, Pappa Geno's offers Philly cheesesteaks near the Heights that both Philadelphia expats and beef-loving Texans can get behind. In a nod to its Lone Star State location, Pappa Geno's even offers its signature steak and cheese on Texas toast, but you'll want to get a regular Philly sandwich just for the wonderfully authentic bread. The owners fly it in from Buffalo, New York, and add Cheez Whiz for that extra Philly oomph.

Awesome cheesesteaks. Best ive had in a long time.

The "Wicked Philly" should be the default sandwich. It's like the regular #1 but with spicy Italian peppers.

close your eyes and point at the menu... I guarantee it will be delicious (well... not an actual guarantee... but you get the idea)
