Description

Houston Press' Description

Max's Wine Dive owes its unusual name to the combination of a terrific Texas "dive" menu with chili dogs, cheese fries and mussels steamed in Lone Star beer, and an innovative wine list that's light years ahead of the rest of the city. It's also a popular place for hip Heights residents to see and be seen.

A favorite weekend brunch spot, must haves include the red velvet pancakes, chicken fried ribeye and eggs and the creme brulee french toast.

Eat the fried chicken. It rocks!

Fried chicken, fancy hot dogs, comfort food done in a way your mom never did - all paired with wines. [Eater 38 Member]

Best egg sandwich on the planet... Would give my left arm for one of these!

The creme brûlée French toast and chicken fried ribeye are out of this world delicious.
