Houston Press' Description

A Filipino restaurant in the Viet Hoa Foodcourt, Jonathan's Grill is a restaurant specializing in food from the Pampanga region of the Philippines. Filipino ex-pats (and plenty of patrons of other nationalities) are often found dining here on favorites like spaghetti (different than what you're probably used to), Filipino-style fried chicken (a small Cornish game hen sized chicken cut in half and fried without a batter) and barbecue selections. Lots of the dishes are served with a crispy pickled papaya, which regulars say is a favorite as well. Just be sure to get your fill Wednesdays through Sundays; they're closed at the beginning of the week.

Tips from foursquare

Try the sisig and skewered bbq pork! I really wish the Lumiang Ubod was available when I go (been there twice lately and both times the lumpia was not available)
