Description

Houston Press' Description

This Mexican plate-lunch spot keeps accreting like some whimsical downtown coral reef. Savor the irrepressible Irma Galvan's burgeoning decor, politically wired clientele and enormously comforting mom-food: landmark cheese enchiladas, real mole, chiles rellenos, pork ribs in home-style tomatillo sauce. Don't miss Irma's lemonade. Lunch and breakfast only; weekdays only.

Cute restaurant - good lunch! One of the most efficient lunch experiences I've had in downtown Houston. Was a bit pricier than your everyday TexMex place.

Way over fkn priced!! Went to have lunch there after an event... 2 Rita's and a fajita plate (only enough meat for 1 taco) $42... Wtf. Never again.

Try the landmark cheese enchiladas, real mole, chiles rellenos, pork ribs in home-style tomatillo sauce and sip some of Irma's lemonade while you wait.
