Description

Houston Press' Description

Imperia is the only strictly Russian restaurant in Houston. There are live dancers some nights (sometimes Brazilian, for whatever reason), plenty of Imperia vodka every night (every night they're open, at least) and, of course, Russian cuisine. The offerings are fairly meat-heavy and not so strange as to freak out those who aren't particularly adventurous. (For something that's different but familiar, try the savory Russian crepes.) Imperia strives for a fairly lively atmosphere - the place is open until 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and often host themed events - but families should feel welcome.
