Givral's Sandwich & Cafe
Houston, TX 77006
Houston Press' Description
Bahn mi (sandwiches), pho (noodle soup), spring rolls, eggs rolls and other snacks form the basis of this inexpensive, order-at-the-counter Vietnamese restaurant. Also try the vermicelli bowls and rice plates, and wash it all down with a thick Vietnamese iced coffee made with condensed milk.
Tips from foursquare
Try the Chargrill BBQ Pork or Shredded Chicken sandwich. Comes with shredded carrots, cucumber sliced lengthwise, fresh cilantro and a crispy chili pepper wedge. Best $2.75 lunch around.
The sandwiches, the pho, the spring rolls, and the vermicelli are all on point.
Love this sandwich dive! BBQ Pork sandwich with extra veggeis and jalapenos!

If you want sandwiches to go, make sure you tell them to NOT toast the french bread and to put the veggies on the side so you don't have soggy sandwiches when you want to eat them later @ home.
