Description

Houston Press' Description

Tucked away on the first floor of The Galleria, trendy Gigi's Asian Bistro serves contemporary Asian flavors to the shoppers walking between department stores. As the name suggest, a wide range of Asian-fusion dishes incorporate influences from Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian and Singaporean cuisines. Appetizers range from $9 to $14, dumplings range from $6 to $10, and entrees range from $12 to $31. Patrons can enter the restaurant either from inside the Galleria or from the street on Westheimer. Semi-secluded booths are available for parties of six to ten. Reservations are strongly encouraged on the weekends, when the restaurant features all-you-can-eat dim sum for less than $20.

    Heavenly beef is good!

  • Amy A. on 04/15/11

Lychee martini was delicious. Most places are too strong. Edamame dumpling was unusual. Dim sum menu was really just dumplings. Beef panyang was great.
