Description

Houston Press' Description

If they quell an urge to overgrill and oversalt, this handsome cafe could become an upscale Mexican staple. Appealing sopes (pizza-style wheels of cornmeal), mashed-on-the-spot guacamole, substantial quesos and rosemary-scented roast chicken are winners; oversizzled grills are not. A brooding mural, cosmetic waiters and spiffy crowd add visual interest.

    Best margaritas. Ever!!!

    Love the white Queso

  • Jenn on 11/10/11

This is an upscale "tex-mex" - the table side guacamole is a must. Spinach enchiladas & empanadas are amazing and probably my favorite salsa in H-town just the right amount of kick w/ great flavor.

Fajitas. Large queso... and an extra order of tortillas... Part of life's perfection!

    Margs are to die for.
