Houston Press' Description

Cuisine of India has been in the same Clear Lake location for over 20 years and has developed quite a loyal following. The cuisine in question is pretty traditional Indian/Nepalese food with a bit of an American bent. Tandoori dishes, biryani, kebabs and an extensive vegetarian menu are available. Healthy options are included for those watching their calories, each accompanied with a that Indian mainstay, naan. They've also got a fairly extensive and unique dessert menu. The atmosphere is casually elegant, and unlike a lot of Indian places, there's a full bar.

Will custom make anything! I order takeaway and they always have the best recommendations. Extra spicy vindaloo makes me happy :-)

Come for the last half hour of buffet. The flavors have had more time to blend. Delicious!

If you like rogan josh, ask for it. Its not on the menu anymore, but they will still make it!

  • Arun N. on 03/02/14

Order the Chilly Chicken. It's not on the menu. Best vegetable dish is Malai Kofta!
