Description

Houston Press' Description

Whether you want breakfast tacos or lunchtime tacos, you're in good shape at Brothers Taco House. Flour tortillas are made fresh to order and are filled with a variety of meats: carnitas, lenguas, chicharrones and deshebrada. Barbacoa is only available on the weekends. The cooks stew the chicharrones in a mild red sauce and then add the house green salsa.

A hole in the wall Mexican joint at it's finest. One of the few places to eat in downtown that's downright cheap. Daily plate specials and $4 breakfast plates. Fresh cooked and fresh tortillas.

Just ask, they'll put cheese on it!

Their pork & pollo taco's are a must, try them!

  • Houston Press on 09/25/13

Try the chicharrones. They are stewed in a mild red sauce that's enhanced with the addition of some of Brothers' flavorful green salsa.
