Description

Houston Press' Description

BRC Gastropub is cheeky in more ways than one: Yes, the "BRC" stands
for "Big Red Cock" and the menu follows a similar adult playfulness.
Don't expect to escape without dropping some bills on the food, but do
expect a phenomenal beer selection and some truly inspired dishes. The
Dr Pepper-fried quail is pure Texana,
while the "Rice Crispy" ice cream sandwiches make you feel like a kid
again. Happy hour is recommended, as the Rice Military/Heights-area restaurant only gets busier
as the night goes on, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

Monday night burger night gives you BRC's classic burger complete with "special sauce" but with bacon and cheese to boot — along with a basket of fresh, hot, homemade fries for only $6.50.
