Houston Press' Description

Chef Bobbie Patterson moved to Texas from Akron, Ohio, a few years ago. His barbecue sauce line has won awards at food shows and barbecue conventions and sells very well at retail stores and online. Patterson opened the barbecue restaurant on Scott as a sideline to the sauce business. The creamy potato salad, homemade cole slaw, mac and cheese and fluffy cornbread are all outstanding. Patterson also prides himself on his fried catfish and his fresh-ground, hand-formed hamburger.

Get the big koolaide!! It's awesome! Seriously the best BBQ in Houston that I've tried! Huge portions and cheap prices! Try the rib tips or pulled pork sandwich.

The beans are great. They have some kind of fruit in them.
